About Us & Our Mission Statement
About Us
Our children spend so many years in education and so many hours per day in education, it is absolutely crucial that parents take an active role in understanding educational choices and taking responsibility for what is being allowed to take root in our children’s minds.
We can all look around and see our current culture and how our nation has declined morally, and this is largely due to abdication of the education of at least two generations of our children who have been raised in materially well off America, but impoverished in the knowledge of Western heritage and benefit of its inheritance. Even with our best efforts, media, peer pressure and the culture will still have a pull on our kids. That’s why it is SO important for our children to understand that the entire basis of our country and it’s founding principles was based on a firm belief in God the Creator and in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe that the restoration of the founding principles of our great United States, faith, morality, law, education of youth and civil and religious liberty can only happen through prayer and an intentional commitment by parents to return to these principles. Heritage Homeschool Group is a group of parents / home educators that are committed to these principles.

Mission Statement
To connect Christian home schooling families that come alongside each other to encourage, support each other and our children academically, socially and spiritually, providing educational support, group and social activities.
Heritage Home School Group was formed out of a desire to support home educating families in the Suffolk VA and surrounding areas that have a commitment to raising their children with a Biblical worldview. Our goal is to partner with other homeschooling families that are intentional about honoring God, family, each other and our community.
